so whats with placenta?

Jessica Soho's report about Placenta being used as whitening ingredients on soap, whitening pills and the most disgusting part, as a food! Ewweehh... this is the most craziest idea that I've seen so far. But what do i know anyway.. since the uber hunky hollywood hunk turn daddy, Matthew Mcconaughey had done some trivial compository on his girlfriends' placenta when she gave birth too. I am now doubting if the idea of using such as a food is even healthy.. shuckss.. i find it gross.
